The Taco Stand - San Diego

Consistently satisfying. Meat is well married and seasoned. For all pastor orders you can see the meat that is carved in the open kitchen by the vertical broiler. Tortillas are made in-house, and the process can be observed live at certain times. Fast service even at peak times. If you add cheese to your Taco or Burrito order, melt and grill the cheese on the tortilla... increase the entire experience! This is something that only a few places seem to do.

Fresh, homemade corstortillas. Large, thick, warm, tasty and absorbs all good juices. Your seafood tacos are really good! Bought the baja, grilled fish and grilled shrimps. But the baja and grilled shrimp were amazing and would come back. Her grilled shrimps were also sharp, but I didn't feel any heat that was disappointing. The seafood is really fresh, while the shrimps have a nice bite on it. She's okay with Al Pastor taco. Shortly compared to seafood. Your fries are AMAZING. Super crispy and fresh. Just get it. The California Burrito is huge, filled and tasty, I now understand the hype. The flour tortilla is really good, chewing and warm with grilled cheese. The frits in Burrito make it amazing. Your churros are AMAZING. Fresh, warm and chewing. Would it again in a heartbeat, but a little expensive. Just get 3 churros in 1 order. They also have a sauce bar that is super organized and are all delicious fresh. Your chipotle sauce should be hot, but it didn't seem spicy AT ALL... and this comes from someone who can treat only mild spice heat lol. But the green Verde sauce was a bit too watery. Her Zilantro sauce (medium heat) tastes amazing. Pico de Gallo and lime slices were all super fresh. Your gender-neutral bathroom is out. Staff are really nice!

In the San Diego area and this place was recommended to try. So we did and this place was good. Parking was terrible, because this place is in a residential area. We tried their shrimps Tacos and California Burrito. You also have a variety of sauces to choose. Definitely a place to check if you like Mexican food.

My husband and I just wanted a little lunch. We ever had a chicken tacco. Wow! You were so delicious! Had the perfect amount of (not too spicy) salsa and guacamole. Friendly, efficient staff. Everything was clean and tidy. We sat in the warm sun on the cozy, small, outdoor terrace. Very recommended.

Best tacos I?ve ever had. Small shop, with a long worth the wait line. Indoor seating is limited. While waiting, you can watch the staff make the Tortilla batter. So many items to choose from. Tacos, burritos and deserts. Everything home made. The condiment station is monitored frequently for replenishment and cleaning. Staff was patient and hardworking. They sit the bar high.
