Vida Mia - San Cristóbal de las Casas

This restaurant is literally a block away from a main shopping street and 5min from the main square. The food (we are very familiar with Spanish cuisine and wine) is surprisingly authentic and very tasty, especially the chuletas de cordero. The chuleton is not your ‘typical’ meat but still ok. The wines from Spain are good and well priced compared to local high end wines. Staff is friendly. The place certainly deserves a visit, i would recommend to go with a larger group as it seems they do not get a lot of clientele. Price quality a very nice option if you want a change from the typical Mexican food.

This restaurant has a breakfast arrangement with our hotel--Casavieja. The service was excellent, but the food choices were limited and not very inspiring. It's a bit out of the way, off the main pedestrian paths and unfrequented.

I live on Maria Adeline Flores and this is a favorite restaurant. Their food is Sabroso! Delicious! The ambiance is wonderful, a beautifully appointed dining room, and just across the street from the best hotel in San Cristobal, Casa Vieja.

Amazing spanish food! The presentation is very good, the service is beyond excellent! A couple away from the city centre, good location.. is you visit this amazing city you must go to this restaurant! I love it!

Vida Mia has excellent, but pricey, Spanish food and not just international stereotypes like paella but regional specialties. The wines are good and so is the fare, but I´d save it for a special night out. The owner and waiting staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
