Great place to eat. It's a bit pricey, but we visit here as often as we can. Little scarce on the dessert menu though. All in all good family eatery.Vegetarian options: They have veggie options too.Parking: The parking space during slow times is adequate, but it can be hard to find parking during busy hours.Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessible parking, entry, and seating.
Kenzo Sushi is an affordable AYCE casual sushi option in San Jose, CA. The quality and flavors are commensurate with the price point, which I would rank on the higher side of moderate. Where Kenzo truly wins is the variety of their hot, cold, and sushi offerings, which are more than what I've seen in the area so far. I am withholding one star due to ambiance, which is too bright for the cement and industrial design of the venue. An improvement would be to have dimmable LED incandescent style bulbs with a yellow hue (2700K light temperature) to make the venue seem more upscale, mysterious, and classy. Some light music would also enhance the atmosphere and to minimize the kitchen noises and hustle and bustle of people moving around. Furthermore, there is no sashimi option, which I think any AYCE would be remiss not to include. Last but, not least, the sushi rolls were filled with rice as if it were kimbap. I would much rather they cut back on the rice about 20% on the rolls, because we came for the fish, not the rice. Otherwise the dining experience was fine and as-expected, but the individual sushi options could have been executed much better with a proper rice to fish ratio as well as improved attention to an uplifted atmosphere.
Service was attentive. Lion king roll was fresh. Jalapeño pepper was interesting. Ambiance was decent with sports on tvs.
I know it 's the AYCE rules, but it 's just a terrible experience to get charged for leftovers because we couldn 't finish their bad food. It was just 1 roll, and we really didn 't like it (easy on the cream cheese people).Aside from that their food is pretty mid.
