Creekside Bagel Bakery - Salinas

This is one of my favorite spots for a delicious breakfast bagel. I always order the Monterey Bagel, extra bacon, and a Thai iced tea (not blended). The Monterey Bagel is fantastic, featuring avocado, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, and alfalfa sprouts—so yummy! They offer a wide variety of bagels, including cinnamon, blueberry, sesame seed, cheese, strawberry, and many more! The staff is incredibly friendly and remembers their regulars' favorite orders. I’ve heard the bagel hot dog is quite popular, though I’ve never tried it myself. They also have an excellent selection of drinks, including smoothies, coffee, and bubble tea. Plus, they've just remodeled the place, adding outdoor seating as well. Enjoy your visit!

This restaurant was really good! I'm not sure why I need to write 85 characters, but the food here was delicious!

We ordered a breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño bagel with sausage, cheese, and egg. If I hadn't seen the ingredients, I could have mistaken it for a cardboard sandwich held together with glue. It was remarkably bland! I also ordered a toasted blueberry bagel that seemed lifeless, leaving me with a less-than-satisfactory experience. Creekside should really reconsider their bagel offerings—perhaps they could pivot to selling imitation purse sandwiches instead? The market for unsatisfying bagel experiences is already oversaturated in Salinas. Tomorrow, I think we'll find a Starbucks instead and settle for a standard, plastic-wrapped sandwich and an overpriced coffee.

Worker/owner always park on parking lot right in front on bagel bakery. Very inconvenient for customers. When They have plenty of space to park ???

Usually the bagels are nice and fresh when I've visited this place, I would pick up bagels for my co-workers in the mornings or for my family. I walked into this place on Tuesday at 5 right before closing orders 4 bagels 2 signature and 2 regular with cream cheese, when I got home to eat my bagel it was hard as a rock you can hit the table and hear the sound my daughter also wasn't happy as hers was also hard (old/stale) We were both so disappointed the following day I called asked to speak to the owner the boy who answered refused to pass the call over until I told him the problem, second bad experience. Finally spoke to the owner and of course she tried explaining away the fact that the bagels get hard at end of the day.. Wow I've had many bagels in my life even a day old bagel isn't this hard. None the less she did nothing to resolve the issue and hearing her try to explain away the fact that the bagels were not hard, old, stale, was even more upsetting. Needless to say we won't be returning.
