8/street - Salerno

I didn't think there could be anything better in the area than the 8thBurger, and instead you managed to get over yourself.. Put the success in full. I love you!

8 burger is a gourmet sandwich shop very famous in our area. In recent years, it has opened various stores and now comes to Salerno also in Street Food version. Last night, my sister Francesca G. and I were tired, after being around all day and watching a theatrical show. We were hungry, but we didn't want to go home too late, considering it was already past midnight. As we walked towards the parking lot where we left the car and we were looking for a little place to eat a quick bite, as a mirage appeared in front of our eyes 8 Street. We immediately recognized the graphics of the sign and realized that it was the new opening of 8 burger, but in street food version take away. Practically the perfect solution we were looking for! The restaurant is in fact small, just a kitchenette where the burgers are grilled, a work plan where the sandwiches and the case are assembled. The place they decided to open, however, is brilliant. The square in which it is, in fact, is densely populated by the young people of the area, who bivac on foot and perched on the steps and benches, sipping the cocktails of the bar next, during the weekend, until late now. There's no place in the square offering food. Typically, the boys go after having dinner at home or at some place, to sip a drink and have a 4 talk, before returning home or before heading to some trendy disco, but, you know, after drinking and after spending a few hours from dinner, you start to feel a languorino and zack: 8 street is ready to serve you! For the choice of the place, therefore, I consider them simply brilliant and also for the choice of street food option! The menu only includes sandwiches. You can choose from some of their gourmet sandwiches or you can compose a custom sandwich to your own taste, with the ingredients listed in the menu. Obviously, the modular sandwich always comes to cost a little more than the already beautiful and made ones. The sandwiches offered by them are excellent and provide the use of top quality ingredients, chosen among our bell excellences, such as friarielli. They also have a gourmet hot dog on the menu, with a cervellatin sausage instead of the sausage. One thing I think exaggerated is that the sandwiches have the same price in the other premises of the 8 burger chain, where, however, you eat them comfortably sitting at the table. I believe that takeaway food should cost slightly less than what is consumed sitting at the table. In addition, the paw of the sandwiches of 8 street and 8 burger is bread. The bread is lost! Too bad! It offers a bread similar to that of McDonald's, which badly associates with the delicious ingredients it contains. I think the sandwiches would gain in taste and delicacy, if they were served in an artisan bread prepared ad hoc. That's why, when I go to the local 8 burgers, I prefer to always opt for dish burgers, without bread. But here this option is not. Another little mole is that, if there's an ingredient missing them or ask for it to be removed, the price doesn't lower, but if you ask for an addition the price rises. Isn't that a little countersensitivity? The takeaway package in which the sandwiches are packaged is delicious: a beautiful square cardboard box. When you lift the lid, the box opens like a flower and becomes a comfortable tray on which you can rest to consume your meal. Strictly sitting on the benches or on the steps of the square, of course! They do not accept payments with the ATM, because they do not have the pos.

We ordered two takeaway sandwiches chicken croquettes and fries fries result fresh ingredients... minimum waiting and an extreme kindness definitely to try again... I can say the best salt bakery

Or enlarge the sandwiches, or decrease the prices! Nice instead the custom sandwich boxes with their own name.

Spectacular sandwich, really exquisite, all quality products, even the vegetarian sandwich has nothing to envy to that with meat, delicious, plus the boys are all kind. We stayed a few days ago and we returned immediately, to try without doubt
