Great little spot! My lady love and I went in for a late lunch and we were greeted with big smiles and cheap lunch specials. We were both satisfied with our meal choices, as well as with our delicious Thai iced teas. I like a bit of spice when it comes to Thai cuisine, and their hottest option didn’t disappoint. I was sweating by the end of the lunch date. The restaurant itself was quiet and welcoming. A little magic spot hidden in the Salem area!
Friendly service and accommodating menu. Tofu and tempeh meat substitute options. Be sure to ask for no fish sauce. The first dish I always order at new Thai places is Pad Thai, if you can’t do that right chances are the rest will be wrong. Even without the fish sauce it was delicious, full of tamarind flavor and not greasy whatsoever. The tofu has a nice grill on it to give it a depth of flavor. Will definitely return.
They have really, really good food. They are family owned, and have pictures of their daughter behind the register. They let you choose how spicy your food is, and also almost everything on their menu (Except fish dishes, a few appetizers, etc) have the option for tofu or tempeh. Brown rice may also be substituted for 50 cents. But anyway, it's a very nice little restaurant, and I highly suggest it! Mmm!
