Met the owner. This bbq is legit. Ate the potato salad... is that cheese? This place is an unexpected gem. They're located off the street but u can turn in for more fun, goodness n even the owners come out and speak to u if u like. (Fun fact: The owner will accommodate, if reasonable, n cook to order if u call in advance) Coming back!!! These guys r on point.

I went to J.R Barbeque and was blown away by everything that i bought. The ribs were perfect and chicken was absolutely insane. It was soo good that i'm going to place a order and drive 1 hour to go get the food and bring it back to my house. See you on Sunday J.R, please have some ribs, chicken and mac and cheese ready for pickup.

Thank you, family father and son. You guys really know your cooking. It was such an unexpected discovery for this town and great satisfaction after being at the inspection facility nearby.

JR bbq is a very nice place to get some good food it’s very clean and the workers are very friendly the ribs are to die for and there always have very good special deals the fried fish is always fresh just how I like it keep up the great work

Just happened to see the place riding by. Drove a mile to turn around with my trailer.. Would do it everytime. Well done by everyone involved. EXCELENT
