We drove through and drove from Chicago to dinner after 9 hours. Nick, the owner and the customers were friendly. You have recommended many menu items. Nick makes the best food. We had fresh Schellfisch with a selection of a long list of sides, a good beer, turkey soup, salad, bacon cheeseburger, and he found me some hot tea as it was a particularly cold night. Very recommended to stop here!

What a great little place. Very clean and good menu. Daily specials and friendly service. I would highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the casino for a while. Been here twice and will visit every time we come back to Salamanca.

The bartender was the best part, he was friendly and attentive and social. This place really feels like a hometown bar, everyone in the facility knew clearly and was friends. This created a pleasant atmosphere for someone who just walks through. The food was also good, I had the drunk Alpenburger, and my fist had a buffalo chicken slaughter.

My husband and I stayed at lunch on their anniversary day. What a very friendly waitress. The pizza and wings where great. Just the right amount crispy.
