Ossoor Vegetarian Restaurant

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Bangalore from Subramani. There is plenty of seating location and the overall ambience of the restaurant is good. Their menu is vast but unfortunately they don't have most of the things written in their menu....That too when we reached there at around 2 PM which is the peak lunch time. We ordered normal things like garlic naan, boondi raita, etc. and they did not have even those. They could not even make a lemonade and said that they don't have it. We asked for our malai kofta to be spicy to which the waiter curtly said we cannot make it spicy. It will be sweet and there is no other way. I have never seen this type of behavior at any restaurant in the world. As much a restaurant is rated on the basis of the preparation of food, it is also rated equally highly on the basis of the behavior of their staff and their menu, which were both pathetic.

This place is good amongst the existing ones. They serve good vegetarian meals but the service is slow. The scenary is good and you can buy coffee nearby.

Situated rite in center of coffee growing area you can enjoy great views of Coffee estate The service is really poor and food taste is also not to the mark Even though you find decent amount of crowd its not up to it.

We always make it a point to take a break / pit stop at this restaurant for break fast during out multiple trips back and forth from Mangalore. We have not tried their lunch menu yet.Strengths1 Nice location-Located very close to the Ossoor Estate, 4 to 5 Kms before Sakleshpur town on the way to Mangalore2. Spacious out doors with decent space for car parking3. Tasty food with a decent variety of traditinal South Indian food4. Extremely neat and clean wash rooms

There is something here for everyone went it comes to the menu.Most of the travellers stop here before they start their journey thru the Ghat section or to take rest for a while after finishing the journey thru the ghats.
