The Sashimi were generous in size and thin in taste. The tuna had almost no taste and only the Salmon saved...the dish. Our lady of srrvice showed lack of any knowledge as to Japanese food in general and the various plates in restaurant.
We come here every time we visit. The food is delicious and the pricing is excellent can't fault it.
We have eaten here often, as eating is simply nice, prices reasonable and we can, for both good health for the economy, then on a non-alcoholic day despite in the land of world famous wineries. I'm going in the rules for mc4. that is the top brainashi [a large bowl of salmon and avocado over generous rice, with wasabi and picky ingwer on the side;] that 16.80 euro dish comes with appetizers of a separate small salad and a separate dish of miso suppe included. hm goes for the cheaper seafood salad and then adds extra for the starter of the suppe and bowl rice. everything in the rule up to thirty euro for two, in a simple ground decor in a backstreet, which is from the cours national near the river. see them, of course, near the arc de triomphe and the dames abbey; but never miss St-Eustephe with its beautiful n façade and historic capital.
Being a big fan of sushi I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this small restaurant in the middle of the Charente Maritime. I was blown away presentation was great and the fish tasted oh so fresh. If in the area it is...a must do. The staff were very very friendly. All round top meal, will be visiting again.
Personally I am not completely convinced by eating raw fish, so when my pregnant wife sais I REALLY need sushi I thought the worst. We found one Restauant in Saintes which was not so good but we eventually found this one. My wife craves for...their Makiniege (California Rolls without the seaweed) to the point she wakes up thinking about them. Their non fish option is good and I love their Gyoza. Admittedly I am not overly keen on their brochettes but they do have a novel beef and cheese brochette. Plus Excellent Service, Fresh ingredients, extremely friendly Minus limited vegitarian or non fish option (but it is sushi)
