La Plancha - Saint Simons Island

This place was good, but really loud. It was so hard to hear each other. The drinks were good and I had the nachos. I liked they had vegetarian nachos with black beans on them. I recommend the street corn, which was really good.

Not your normal Mexican place. This is a hidden jewel!!! My wife and I ate in La Plancha recently and will go back soon. We started with the house Margaritas (they were very strong and chips. (Note: The chips do not come to your meal, but they were fresh and the salsa was to die! I ordered the tacos with steak, chicken and pork. Total Very fresh and fill. I suggest trying La Plancha on SSI.

I just had lunch with the family, and everyone thought it was fantastic. The taste filled tacos had the perfect amount of goodness in each. The children loved the Burritos and Quesadillas, and the Guacamole and Salsa were very delicious. The margaritas were great, and so the service...great experience around.

Server was very kind and energetic. When a mixup happened with our order they were very professional and quickly fixed it. The seasoning is fantastic and the food is fresh. I recommend the short rib and chicken when it comes to meat choices.

I just ordered lunch. The food is amazingly delicious. Ordered fish tacos and veggie nachos. Tacos were fabulous....big sauce and corn tortillas were great. The cheese dip was super tasty and toddler (times two approved! : . Mexican corn... on Par! Lovely that we were able to buy Margarita mix to make some at home, and they were delicious! Thanks, the recipe was included! The staff was exceptional....our food in our car when it's finished. Even the portions were ridiculous! We have at least one more meal for two adults and two children. Thank you, La Plancha! We'll be back on this trip to SSI, and every trip goes forward!
