Gray Duck Tavern - Saint Paul

I recently visited this restaurant and had drinks at the bar. It took a bit of time to get the bartenders' attention as the bar was busy. Once we were finally noticed, the bartenders were friendly and attentive. The drinks were good, with my companion enjoying a single malt scotch and myself enjoying a tasty cocktail. However, the wine list was not very impressive.

The service at the restaurant was excellent, no issues there. However, I wasn't a fan of the flatbread - the crust was soggy and the meat topping was unidentifiable. The drinks also left something to be desired.

While geese may fly out of St. Paul, the Gray Duck is back and better than ever. The beer menu is extensive and so is the food menu. We were familiar with the duck before the pandemic and this new menu is refreshing and offers a variety of options. There are plenty of filling choices for under $15. We tried the Cubano sandwich and the Steak tips and both dishes left us very satisfied. Welcome back, Gray Duck! We will definitely be returning.

Try the turkey pot pie you will not regret it. Service was exceptional. The live music added to the overall experience. Would recommend for large or small groups!
