Food was fantastic. The cafe itself was coozy. I am going to be coming here a lot more. Places like this deserve all the props it can get. Good job Capital View Cafe!
In addition to catering for weddings and events, they have a room available to rent for private parties. The walls are decorated with paintings of regular customers and past staff. Painted by a retired priest known as McDonald. Try their Cajun breakfast or the Churro waffles!
Pancakes were good, biscuits and gravy was not. It said homemade sausage gravy, but if that is true, then they badly need a new recipe, since it looked and tasted like it was from a can. Great atmosphere though, with nice hand-painted portraits on the walls.
This restaurant produced high quality, flavorful, catered food. The owner and staff were very personable, helpful and understanding, they went above and beyond with extra added touches! The food was ready on time, and packed securely. The homemade salsa was a hit with the crowd and Capital View has earned a life long customer!
Absolutely delicious food, best omelette I have ever had. The service was quick and friendly, in spite of how busy they were. This is one of my favorite breakfast spots.
