When I booked, I asked for a move for our birthday. and I also made a reminder just before dessert; Unfortunately in vain. What is all the more embarrassing and vexing is that several tables have had a millefeuille with a candle.
We had the opportunity to taste the chef's cuisine a good lunch. aperitif in the garden with its magical view and very promising mouths. then the menu was transported to us, all dishes were fine, balanced, spicy perfectly, and served with a big smile. the wine menu remains reasonable (white bun with algae bread is to fall and magical desserts. a very nice table we want to make soon!
In 1995 I had the pleasure of discovering Olivier Roellinger's kitchen and I keep an emotional memory. 27 years later, I discovered Hugo Roellinger. Work, creativity, sense of flavors, an atmosphere, a beautiful team, a sublime table. A great moment of happiness to find in Cancale, in this beautiful family, this kitchen we love so much. I've read a few incendiary critics... on the dismantled frame... but that's what we're looking for... not a rooftop flashing in Parisian pollution. What better than having, through the window, a painting of Mont St Michel bay? On the service... false!!! The staff is efficient and discreet. Even the young waiter, perhaps learning, was touching in his application to explain the dishes to us. Reviews on the kitchen... I wonder what people eat at home... Everything is just and golden. Cooking and spices respect local products. Only noble products in the twelve dishes. What about dessert Estran? Have the impression of plunging its spoon into the sand of the beach and taste these flavors so soft and surprising, enhanced by the iodine of the caviar of Aquitaine. We ended with a walk in the park and the vegetable garden, accompanied by a few squirrels, not included in the menu... Hugo Roellinger was not named the best cook of France 2022 for nothing...
