At 6h30 with only a party of 4 in the restaurant we were told a half hour wait. Two young girls were behind the counter. They didnt look happy. I overheard them say there was only one avocado left. They didnt tell me though. (The customer). When we got our sushi it was a big pile of mess. Mushy, loose, very badly made! 80 bucks worth. Awful. So i saw some sushi that was supposed to have big chunks of avocado and brought it to the girl who acted like it was an honest mistake. It wasnt. She said they would make us another. Then i wentbthrough my receipt to see if it was all there and the girl touched the sushi with her fingertip (yuck) as i read it. When i asked her not to touch the food she was insulted! Oh my god. This is a restaurant? Makes you wonder about the fish. So after i pointed out how badly made everything was. It was so bad it all fell apart when you picked it up she just disagreed. Wow. Then she gave us our free sushi because of her mistake topped with a huge chunk of brown avocado. I couldnt believe it. I wish the owner had been there.
I stopped by for a quick lunch and bought a plastic container and a bottle of water for $17.
While walking through Old Montreal, I stumbled upon this shop and couldn't help but be drawn in by the stunning photos of their dishes. I was intrigued by the concept of sushi tacos and knew I had to find out more.
After a previous bad experience at a restaurant on Sources, I was hesitant to try another one. However, I ended up trying this one and found the food to be delicious but overpriced.
