Le W - SAINT JACQUES

The photos are not representative at all. We were not seated in the beautiful restaurant where the chef is in the middle of the room and not out on the roof terrace either. Instead, they placed us in an old Hotel room (room 803) that did not look anything like a restaurant. The food was also bad. The veal was very, very salty. You could see on both the meat and the plate how much salt was laying on it. Also the staff was very young and inexperienced. I regret going here. Was the worst food during our Paris trip.

I rarely write reviews on TripAdvisor but after our dinner tonight at the W restaurant, I wanted to take the time to thank and congratulate the staff for the impeccable service. The view from the rooftop is great , the food is of very good quality but what makes the big difference is the kindness of the staff. (There was a mistake in the booking and the staff made their very best to accommodate us). We had a wonderful evening and I really recommend this restaurant . Enjoy! Seeing as this was one of the best meals of my life, this restaurant will forever hold a sentimental place in my heart. Every dish, planned and executed to perfection. A lovely staff and a lovey ambience, this restaurant will be remembered.

My husband and I got a last minute reservation here after seeing the rave reviews on TripAdvisor and it was incredible! We went with the wine pairing meal for 65 euros each and it came with a fish tar tar starter, a risotto with scallops and prawns, a beef that was out of this world, and a chocolate lava cake. We received a refreshing cocktail at the beginning and then a glass of wine each of the savory courses. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed being near the chef as he prepared each course. This was such a fabulous meal, we will recommend this place to everyone!!
