I was able to use a $50 bill for a $5 purchase. Thanks again!
Such a nice place! And quiet!!!Green tea tastes authentic. Coffee is fresh too!
Everything is very sweet there. We tried the lychee and pina colada ice cream and they were super sweet though they tasted good at first. Also the man put both flavour ice cream (4 little scoops) into 1 little cup so after a few minutes, it melt all over my hand. The iced tea tasted like store bought lemon tea and it 's so sweet. We also ordered mocha and they also said mocha is ready when it was done but we actually got hot chocolate, no coffee at all, maybe it was a mistake but clearly they called it mocha. And yes the hot chocolate we received was also very sweet.
We love this little hidden gem on Granville Island. We often treat ourself with their homemade ginger ale after our walk during the summer. Sometimes, their gelato they have matcha green tea and black sesame that I enjoy. However, on a cloudy winter day, we tried their hot beverages today. We had a hot ginger brew, small for $4.4. It tasted like a hot version of their ginger ale but less sweet and gingery, plus a piece of lemon. I loved it.Also, a hot ginger latte, small for $4.6. It had a robust ginger flavour, it was smooth and had a sweet after taste.A mango smoothie which had a lot of mango you could see.You had to go to the back of the Granville Island and an alley called Shops of Creekhouse. It is kind of next to/ behind the Sand Bar.The place is run by a couple and they are nice and polite. The interior is cozy and I like it is always clean. I also love the little details of the tables. Each table is different and is like a little display for some artworks.Total costed $16.4; being promoted by the machine, if you choose to tip, they only ask for 5%, 10% to start with. This little place will remain as our hidden gem on Granville Island.
