Restaurant aux 3 Copains - Saint-Donat

Was looking for a breakfast spot instead of going to my fav restaurant every day OHANA I decided to listen to the google reviews and walk across the street. Service was friendly minus me having to go inside to let the waitress know we would be sitting outside (it was 11 am so not to early that she wouldn't of noticed us if she was walking around) Grabbed a simple breakfast... not bad. Eggs were greasy, bacon was microwave and the potatoes weren't cooked fully. The garnish was a tomatoes slice with random lettuce. 3/5 stars could of been way worse. Boyfriend got the eggs Benedict plate looked beautiful but wasn't very good. A boat lost of fruits which was cool but we didn't order the fruit cup. The sauce for the Benedict's were very fatty and greasy and the egg wasn't very good. I decided to come back for lunch but after I saw how large the menu was I knew everything was just frozen in the back and just said sorry left the menus and walked out to go back to Ohana. I always try to give spots another shot if the waitress was nice or if it's a small town and I know they need the service but I didn't want to be disappointed so followed my heart across the street.

Lunch was a pleasant experience on the terrace. Waiters smiled and I can't think of a single thing I can complain about. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Lunch Price per person: CA$30–40

C'était ma première fois à cet endroit.Sur la terrasse (en bordure de la rue Principale) on est a l'ombre et c'est assez bruyant a cause des autos et motos), le menu est très terre a terre, il y a de tout pour tout les goûts sauf la cuisine raffiné (canard, bison).J'ai pris une copieuse soupe au légumes, puis un filet de sole avec pomme de terre au four accompagné de sa crème sûre et légumes bien assortis et cuits.Pour les 60 ans et plus comme moi, $11 plus une bonne bière en fût "shock top" 12 onz pour $5 = total $16+ taxes et pourboire.Pour la terrasse en soirée apportez une veste, chandail supplémentaire ou manteau car c'est pas toujours chaud !
