Le Cafe du Phare

We have been visiting the Café du Phare for several years. It is extremely popular with the locals and open all year. The food is uniformly good simple, predominantly fish but steak etc on the menu too. Waiters are cheerful and efficient. There is a warm, welcoming atmosphere – children are particularly welcome and can play outside on the terrace. One can relax, chat to familiar faces, watch a match, enjoy fresh, well made meals. It is one of our favourite places on the island and we return with great pleasure at every visit.

As its name suggests, the restaurant is located at the foot of the whale lighthouse. It is a simple place, but the kitchen is efficient. We opted for the salmon tartar and then the bacon bar. These dishes were very good. The service was also at the height. In summary, we had a very good time for dinner.

After having known mathieu ask after Bruno.Good humour welcoming. The meal very well, I came for the second time with friends to have a discovery of the island. I strongly recommend. Well served and copied dish.

We were very well welcomed with our friends who made us visit the area. the very nice and fast server. very reasonable price. I'm not recommending anything.
