Antonio Itasca Italian Fine Dining

Came here for dessert and a cocktail, and had a pleasant time. The inside is an old church so there's a unique look and feel, but there's outdoor seating available too.

This is real Italian food. Great wood fired pizzas especially the pizza Margarita. It compared to the pizzas I have had in Naples and Rome. The Chicken dishes my family had were great especially the chicken vesuvio. I had the Zuppa di mare which hadplenty of fish with very good flavors. The rustic Italian bread with the Olive oil and parmesan cheese were a great start to themeal. I was really digging the ambiance I guess it looks like an old church but was really cool inside with a lot of culture.Not a place for a quick meal. The water/bread/clean up guys were exceptional. Our server did a okay job, definitely not mr.personality but was good. This it by far the best Italian in St Charles and surrounding areas. Old world Italian flavors andplentiful portions. Before this I would have to go to Taylor street . My new home! Would like to see better desert selectionsthough.

We did a carry out to our hotel. The lasagna was nasty, Grandma would not put her approval on this. Pollo Marsala was just okay.

Mediocre food and service is horrible. I have been here a couple of times. on my third visit. I completely crossed it off. Who appears to be the owner has an attitude and should probably get out of the hospitality business.Food: 2/5

We are often in town for meetings and over the years have dined at many local locations. Antonio 's had not been on our list until recently. Our group was seated in a semi private room, allowing for the usual work banter and engagement without worrying about being too loud. Drinks, appetizers, and fine Italian food followed. The menu is extensive, they have a full bar, and service was excellent. The veal was very good, and the pasta was made on site. Try the pizza as an appetizer. We then moved outside to the patio where they have a few fire pits and you can enjoy a cigar. A nice touch and the excellent service continued as we wrapped up our evening. Great value as well. Recommend.
