El Ruedo Ii - Sahagun

Really excellent lamb meat made in the oven and leek, prepared with foie which is a speciality of the area of Sahagun. Very friendly staff and pleasant location, right in the old centre of town.

I considered ordering off the menu because an €11 menu Del dia can sometimes be disappointing. I ordered the Russian Salad which was so-so (there were other options, but I am nursing an upset stomach), but the salmon more than made up for it. It was fresh, perfectly cooked and seasoned. For the €11 I also got bread and a generous glass of wine.

All Ican say is when I asked for a large black coffee I got one. I was so pleased the coffee came in a really nice cup. Orange juice freshly squeezed. Toastarda was really good. I liked the service and the fact the cafe is open.
