Instead what I got are probably barely a cup of white rice and a lot of fillers . The ingredients are not commonly you see in a poke bowl (why carrots? . But yeah, you 'll be better off buying something else.Food: 2/5
Came here earlier during dinner. The tall man was polite and patient while I ordered food. I got a medium kohaku bowl. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back to this place!Food: 5/5
There is a magical octopus here that watches over all, the staff prepping the fish, the staff taking orders and making dishes, and the customers who come to be nourished. You will understand if you just trust the cephalopod.Specific stuff I like/love: simple sea salt and chili oil on any protein over rice. You are also right to avoid rice and go island style, but I'm in the stage of life that says seasoned rice is always ok. Wasabi sauce is great, too.Protein thoughts: their scottish salmon is righteous. But yellowtail is such a great poke fish, way under appreciated in my view. If you are adventurous try the local farmed sturgeon, so unique and interesting.OK, that's all. Love my Fish Face Poke Bar
Fish Face came recommended by a friend. She mentioned it is opened by the same owner from Kru (which I still need to stop by at).We ordered:1 classic kohaku (half sushi rice half salad) $21.50: tuna scallop-large 3 4 pound1 yuzu albacore (half sushi rice half salad) $12-small 1 4 pound1 rainbow hand roll $5.751 spam and tamago musubi $4The small is a bit too small, so value probably isn't there. Rainbow handroll was ok. I highly enjoyed the spam and tamago!Indoor dining is available. Not a bad spot to get your poke fix in!Street parking only.
Best poke ever. Great chef designed bowls that take the guesswork out of designing your own bowl. Would also recommend the tuna sandwich
