The wings were small compared to wing stop, they just look bigger because of all the breading. The gold sparkling tasted like a salty garlic cheesepuff and the sweet and spicy tasted like Pelon Pelo Rico (tamarindo) and it was too sweet for me, made my teeth hurt. Theplace was packed so some people really enjoy this place, but it 's just not for me.
The Golden Sparkling flavor is the best flavor we tried. Be sure to get the cream cheese balls, they are absolutely delicious. Note that the sauces that you pay a whole dollar for are like standard Heinz ranch etc so if you have sauce at home there's noreason to spring for sauce. I would subtract 1/4 of a star for that and 1/4 of a star for the fact that the chicken doesn't comewith any sauce for free, so it might be a little dry without that addon. Still, it was cheap, and the chicken was really good,so I round that back up to 5 stars.
Great place to have urban Korean style food. Chicken was delicious. I had the Padadak Combo with crunchy fried chicken strips, coleslaw, veggie fried rice and a Korean beer. The location is good as well as it's right next to the Nobel Drive Station.
Wow, this place is really good for a fast food place. We ordered the combination plates, hubby tried the sweet and spicy; perfection! Juicy, sweet and hot; good sized chicken strips. I had the soy garlic, yum! It was quite a filling meal, fried rice, fries, coleslaw and a drink. We will be back and hope they come to the Inland Empire soon.
I was sitting outside the Kebab Shop, La Jolla. After finishing the small portion box with extra beef, I was still not full. I looked at the Padadak just next door, and walked in. I checked Yelp in advance and found that they increased the price, now is$11 for 6pcs instead of $13 for 8pcs. Anyway, I ordered 6pcs and told the clerk I only want wing flats. He told the chef andboth of them were laughing. They must thought I was a weird person who only wanted wing flats. I didn't mind. The renovationand decoration of the dining area is really good and fashionable. A big sculpture of chicken made by kitchenware is on the wall, such an art piece. 5 brown boards in both English and Korean are hanging on the wall. It mentioned that the Korean wordPadadak represents the action of a chicken fluttering powerfully towards the sky. I waited a pretty long time, and suddenly theclerk point a bag already on the counter and told me that was my order. I handled that bag and found it was too heavy for just6 pcs wings, then the clerk found the box of chicken was mine but another box of fried rice was not. Come on, man. I have tosay that the taste was so good, I had soy garlic flavor. The chicken is sweet, crispy, and VERY juicy. The free pickled radishbox was also very very good, so sour and so sweet. The management was not that good, but the food was still worth 4-star.
