Lucys Mexican

We had been wanting to try Lucy's for a while. I wish we hadn't waited!We were greeted very nicely, and our waiter was amazing. He treated us like friends, instead of just customers.The chips were still hot! The salsa is good, I kinda wanted more bite to it, but that's what they make sauce for. The food was an absolute feast! It was REALLY good. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the food. . .YUM!We will be back. Y'all need to try this place. It's a great restaurant! Right there on 127

Never again! I ate here with a friend of mine and just by looking at the inside of the place we got food poison vibes. Regardless we figured giving it a chance couldn 't hurt, you can 't always judge a book by its cover. I should have known it was going to be bad when ordering drinks everything I went to order the place was out of, it was easier just to have them tell me what they did have, my friend ended up just getting a water. After receiving their water my friend quickly changed their drink choice because he said the water tasted as if it came straight out of the lake. I took a sip of the water and could have gagged. Our chips and salsa arrived chips were stale as could be. We didn 't have to wait long on our food mine came out and it was a huge disappointment I ordered the enchiladas supreme it ended up being 4 almost flat enchiladas 1 nothing but chicken, 1 beef, 1 bean, 1 cheese, why would you not put all of those together in one enchilada. My friend got some sort of burrito it was supposed to have meat, lettuce, french fries, all kinds of stuff wrapped up in it. Sadly my friend was disappointed with his meal as well because it didn 't have half of what was supposed to come with it, and the picture on the menu clearly shows what 's supposed to be inside of it. I ordered us a guacamole salad to share smh once again nothing but disappointment. First the waiter completely forgot I ordered it and it 's not like this place was busy it was literally us and one other table who already had their food. Any way the guacamole salad was awful nothing but huge chuncks of the white pieces of lettuce, a few slices of tomatoe, and enough guacamole for maybe 2 chips. This place was horrific when it was the Hillbilly Cafe and its not any better as a Mexican restaurant. Honestly if I could give it 0 stars I would.

Lucy's Mexican Restaurant is exceptional. Great tasting menu choices, exceptional service and great location. Highly Recommended!

I have had the privilege of eating some of the supposed finest Spanish Caribbean, Central, Mexican and South American food. Ranging from expensive Large embellished “authentic” tourist trap places, to food trucks, mom and pop places and everywhere in between. I would consider myself an amateur connoisseur of Mexican food.Here is my review,Restaurant was very clean, food Temperature was perfect. And the food, was amazing. Abel is a great member of our community, and I plan to eat here at Least once per week for the rest of my life.Highly recommend.Btw, I just moved from Fort Myers, this is not a biased review.
