I had the beef tongue taco , my daughter had the steak and I got my son the chicken.

We stopped at Cabo Fish Taco on our way into Lynchburg to grab dinner and it was amazing! We weren 't sure what to expect as far as portions go so we ordered the shrimp and crab dip appetizer and highly recommend it. Seriously, do not pass it up! The pita was amazing and the dip had visible chunks of shrimp and crab in it. I wish we had ordered two! We did order two different taco specials with different sides so we could share and while we enjoyed both, we agreed that the garlic buffalo shrimp was the better of the two. The bbq mahi was good as well, but it was a little spicier than we were anticipating. (Don 't let the mango in the name fool you! We also both liked the black beans and rice more than the jalapeño cheddar mashers. All that being said, this place is on point and we both want to come back to try other tacos so it 's landed a spot in my Favorite Foods Found While Traveling collection! I wasn't impressed. I don't have anything bad to say, but it wasn't for me...or my Mom. We both ordered 2 tacos each and I couldn't eat the first one. My mom ate her first, but didn't want the 2nd one. The taste of the tortillas was very overwhelming.

Love their salsa, but very disappointed they recently got rid of their Caesar salad, used to be me and my friends favorite! If you're gluten free I recommend getting tacos with no shell, they do it in a small bowl with plenty of shredded of lettuce, instead of corn tortillas.
