Przekaż informację zwrotnąOn Feb 1st, we had a (very) belated breakfast at the Shadehouse Cafe. Hubby’s Big Breakfast cost $20 and he thought the battered onion rings were a nice touch. My Eggs Benedict cost $17 and was a little bland but nice enough. <br/ <br/ Service staff were brisk but efficient.<br/ <br/ The Shadehouse does pretty good coffee we both had iced mochas as it was muggy and hot but we’ve sampled their other coffees before. And they sell typical milkshakes in tall takeaway cups! In fact, the only drinks issue we ever had was confusion over the sizes of orange juice because they sell small bottles as well as glasses.<br/ <br/ We sat outside on the deck, overlooking the Palmers Garden Centre plants. There isn’t a lot of seating available, so we were lucky that the cafe wasn’t busy. The spacing between tables is good though, plenty of room to stretch out and a little privacy so that you don’t feel like you’re sharing in other people’s conversations.
Great Coffee, Great Food and Great Service.I have finally found a café that everytime I visit, the cappuccino and food is always at high standards. A great place to sit and relax in the beautiful surroundings. The best café in Rotorua.
It is a lovely setting here and the food is always delicious. The best part of buying plants is visiting the cafe. Yesterday I had a scone, nice, fluffy and light and some great ginger crunch with a very nice cappuccino.
I am a regular at the Shade House Cafe and Love it!! I go there because I love the peaceful surroundings and the food, especially the date scones and the date and walnut loaf which are AMAZING! The staff are very friendly. I have been to loads of other cafes in town but keep going back to the shade house as its definately my favourite !!
We go to the shadehouse often. It is one of our favourite spots to lunch. Has always been great food without exception (and yummy coffees! and friendly staff. I love the semi garden, but sheltered setting too.
