From outside, philoxenia looks pretty bland, so we were surprised when we came in and saw an amply decorated restaurant. there is a huge kamin scattered along the spaces in the middle and many Greek sculptures and paintings. even if it was early. Saturday evening in the next season the room was packed, but the helpful waiter found a table for us. the menu is extensive with many meats, fish and souffles. Even if it was so full, we were served very quickly. the Saganaki cheese was different when it was prepared when I was in Greece, but it was still good. However, I found the price for this fried piece chess a little steep at almost 8 euro. other options were rather modest. one of the courts was listed twice on our bill, but this was quickly corrected to my complaint.
