The cashier came back and got into a argument in front of everyone in the stire. It was packed. And most of the customers were talking about how long the wait was. The cashier was rude and was telling people they were short staffed with an attitude. Finally the couple got there order and left. The cashier was talking about the couple to her coworker Very unprofessional and much of attitude with customers. It was chaotic. She needs to train on customer service. Smg
Poor service. Food order with missing all extra, gravy, honey, ect. No drink refills. Had to ask for carry out box 3 times. Food was over cooked and took 30 min
You send me a coupon for 20% off not valet till 4 o'clock. Get there at 4 o'clock. They tell us a 20 minute wait due to no employees. Not a good experience.
We've enjoyed occassional visits to Cracker Barrel since we stopped at one in Kentucky on our way to our honeymoon in Gatlinburg 37 years ago. Breakfast is our favorite. We enjoy buying some treats and little notions in the gift shop, too. Years later we would stop at Cracker Barrel with our son on our way to various camping trips. However, it is apparent that things have changed. There are not enough staff or workers in the kitchen. It takes a long time to get seated, and my husband is disabled. Some patrons have waited over an hour for their food to be served. Some have walked out in disgust. We visited the Rosevikle location last March, and left after waiting for an hour to be seated at 6:30 on a Sunday evening. People were angry, there was a skeleton staff, and we were told that staff could not be asked to work past their shift. Well, hire more staff! I let corporate know, they sent me an email apology and gift card. We attempted to try again, same location, on August 15. Again, low staff, working hard. Long wait time for food. The table of 4 next to us walked out. Our food was hit, but potstoes were dry and overcooked, and apparently they have changed the biscuit gravy to a different kind, my husband was disappointed. The cashier seemed new and confused. The poor manager had to serve food! We have read that Cracker Barrel wants to update its design, menu, etc. The old country store theme is just fine, but pleasing patrons is the bottom line, and profuts will follow! Improve staffing, get that food out on time, don't skimp on menu ingredients, clear and clean those tables quickly, and loyal customers will return. Unfirtunately, we will not.
Excellent service, our server was very friendly and accommodating
