Daniella's In The Park - Rogersville

When for the Friday night prime rib buffet, everything was very good and service was excellent. Beautiful setting on the water! We'll be back to try the seafood buffet

Went on seafood buffet night. They did not offer full menu. Unfortunately the only item that was tasty was the potato wedges. All of the food seemed to have been out all day. Lettuce was old and wilted. Most everything was fried and had little flavor. The space is nice and the view is great. I would probably go at lunch time if I went again, and order something very simple like a burger just to enjoy the view.

However, there was a downside: the chili spilled out of the bowl, leaving a mess on the underplate. The table service needs improvement—not in numbers, but in attitude. Our main server, a young man named A., strolled around with a frilly toothpick in his mouth. My wife pointed this out, and his response was that the boss was sick that day and the toothpick helped him manage stress. I’ve never encountered a restaurant where staff used toothpicks to cope with stress. While there were definitely stressful moments in the dining room, the toothpick was unusual. This server ultimately cost Daniella's two stars.

The view was stunning, and both the food and service were outstanding. The prime rib was cooked to perfection.

The food was delicious, the service was excellent, but the restaurant is starting to look a bit outdated. Will I return? Absolutely! Friday nights are Prime Rib night!
