Up North 23 Lounge - Rogers City

I came here in September and forgot to make the review, here's my review. In such a small town it is a surprise to find such an exquisite restaurant. A true hidden treasure! Every time I visit Rogers City, I make this a mandatory stop because it's just so good! The workers there are also so wonderful and beautiful! Great service and food, wonderful place.

Just one of the best meals I ever had in Northern Michigan, if not elsewhere. The Walleye plate is simply spectacular with a perfect side of steamed asparagus and potatoes. Words are not enough to describe the incredible flavors that are in this dish! The restaurant itself is inconvenient and the decor is acceptable. The main dining area is essentially an open hall with tables everywhere, so not much intimacy if you are looking for a romantic night out. But for larger groups and if you don't mind sharing space with people, it's good. Outdoor seating is also available with a clear view of Lake Huron. The food alone is completely worth the visit I will like to visit again when I am on this area!

Ahh mazing restaurant! We arrived at Labor Day weekend and had great service. I had the white fish and it was perfectly prepared! My wife had the Lobster Mac Cheese Special and it was delicious. One of the best restaurant experiences I had in Michigan. A hidden jewel overlooking the lake from the table.

Awesome food and staff. I was traveling up north with my friends and on the way back we stopped at this restaurant. The staff was very courteous and friendly. There is a back porch with a great view of the lake. The food was fantastic, we had chicken marsala soup and was top three soups I ever had at a restaurant. The main course was the pulled pork sandwich with fries and the portion was big and the food was tasty. My friends had the same except for 1 that had the lone stat sandwich and he loved that also. Since we enjoyed our main course we decided to have dessert. Our waitress recommended the bred pudding so I decided to go for it. It was a treat. A good portion, not very sweet, I would say perfect. 1 of my friends could not resist and ordered another one. I would recommend this place if you are passing by and would like to grab something good to eat. There are not many places where the food is as good as here.

This was the first time that my boyfriend and I had been to Up North 23 and it was a great experience! We ordered a pizza and we got it really fast which I thought was too quick to even make so by the end of our meal our waitress came up and said that we ended up getting the wrong pizza. It was so good that we didn't even realize it was wrong. Kip gave us a free dessert even tho we said it was ok and the other guy was going to give us a free meal but we said we had already been offered a free dessert. Everyone dining in was having a great time. Great food! Great people! We will definitely be going back soon!
