For dinner, I had the eggplant rollatini appetizer while my husband tried the black squid ink pasta de mare and shared some with me. Everything was really good, and the tiramisu served in a mason jar was delicious! The Espresso martinis were the best we've had locally. Overall, it was a great meal!
We came here on a Tuesday night around 630. The place isn’t big so make a reservation or come early. It was busy! We got seated right by the pizza oven which was cool. We shared the pot of mulled wine, which is a favorite seasonal treat and I wish more restaurants served it. We started with the Caesar salad that tasted like it had homemade dressing and croutons. We got the pizza Bianca to share with smoked prosciutto and truffle oil. Delicious. The dough was light and salty and tasty. It was fresh. For dessert we got the homemade lemon sorbet which was great. Food came out quick, the staff were all nice. I gave the pizza maker a thumbs up for his great work. The interior is charming and cozy. Best pizza in RVC and we’ve tried them all. Can’t wait to go back.

The food, service and atmosphere are spectacular at Mangia Bene. This gem of a restaurant serves a varied menu of delicious homemade pastas and the fried calamari appetizer is exquisite. I highly recommend it!
Good food and atmosphere. Had the Chicken Parmesan and I liked it. The restaurant is normally crowded on weekends
