Dunns River Lounge - Rockville Centre

We came here as a spontaneous way to celebrate our 10-year-old meeting, and we both have a love for Caribbean food and have gone to several restaurants in the area that I was looking for something new and exciting. When we arrived there, it was packed, but the host was more than accommodating and waiting was no more than 20 minutes. We had a call within 15 and sat near the live singer who was there that night. Not only was her singing top note the food was incredible. The Curry Chicken of Ruck Pig the Ruck Chicken and also the Rocket Pasta was all amazing and some of the best Caribbean food I had on the island. We also had both drinks that were perfected and made strong. The waitress was attentive, though the place was full. It was a great find and I will definitely return. 4/20/17 Meetings

Dunns River was the best experience I had in a facility. I threw my husband a surprise birthday party and he loved it. Great food and music. Can't wait to go back to try the other things on the menu. We had escovitch wings, frit, shrimp, jerk pig, curry chicken, rice and peas, plantains and it was all in point. The drinks were amazing that everyone says!

Superb is the only way to describe this experience. You have to do brunch on Sunday!! This liver. The cured chicken, the ache and salt fish..to die for...... They meet the owner and their extremely committed, friendly, server. ... You know I'm back!

Very nice place the food is brilliant and not to mention the music. I'm sorry not to waste music too well.
