As one of the top reviewers in the region, restaurants are always vying to impress me but Froggy's did so effortlessly with its fantastic burgers and friendly atmosphere. My husband and I started by perusing Froggy's intriguing burger menu. With options ranging from the classic cheeseburger to outlandish monthly specials like the pulled pork mac and cheese monster, there truly was something for every burger lover. I opted for a plain cheeseburger while my husband selected the cheddar jalapeño version. When our massive burgers arrived, we could hardly believe our eyes. These were no ordinary half pound patties they looked bigger than many meals I've had elsewhere. And they did not disappoint in flavor. The cheese was melty, the patties cooked to perfect juicy perfection. My guest raved equally about their spicy creation. The crispy fries made for the perfect burger accompaniment. Beyond the standout food, I was most impressed by Froggy's welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. From the bartender mixing drinks to being a cheerful waitress, who knew just how much I savored that burger, the excellent service added to the enjoyable experience. At prices that won't break the bank but still feel like a real treat, Froggy's is a gem of a neighborhood hangout. I'll certainly be back to try more of their monthly featured burgers. Any burger lover in the area would be remiss to not check out this Rock Falls hotspot. One visit and these mammoth burgers will have you forever hooked. Consider this burger paradise highly recommended.
Twenty of us got together and the service was great. Food was also very good. Everyone left happy. We will be back.
The food is so good, you wont want to ever cook at home again! Great local business.
I received a burger that was served very rare. Instead of properly addressing the issue, the cook microwaved it, which ended up drying out the burger and making the fries soggy. This isn't the correct way to handle a mistake. The onion rings were greasy and lacked crispness. On the bright side, the olive burger was enjoyable. There was only one server, and she did a commendable job given the circumstances. However, it was disappointing to see one of the owners or managers sitting behind the bar, scrolling through her phone with two others for the entire duration of our visit instead of tending to customers. Additionally, the bar stools at the tables were worn out and wobbly, in need of replacement. Overall, we were quite disappointed and likely won’t return.
The waitress, Shenna, was fantastic! She gave me the confidence to try the bacon beer cheese burger, even with my long beard. I'll definitely be back!
