Sbarro - Roanoke

I love the pizzas of Sbarto?s, but today I have experienced something that has left me very disappointed. A man ordered a big pizza and waited for it. Fifteen minutes later, he was told that they hadn't made pizzas because someone forgot to tell him. The man wanted to get his money back and forget. Then they had the nerve to say you had your reception. They knew he ordered it and paid for it, but they didn't want to return his money because the man couldn't find the reception. So he just said to forget it and went away. Then the guy I took was the manager of bad mouth after he left. He said he wasn't supposed to talk to him like that. Very bad taste. You should have offered the man something like a drink or food while he had to wait longer because his pizza had not been started. And then to demand his reception for the mistake they made was terrible. Poor, poor way to handle this.

Nice to come here today. With my daughter to get 2 slices.. Gentleman had a cleaning cloth in his hand throws it back into a bucket of water then goes and picks up our pizza with the same wet gloves. Disgusting!

Great pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My town no longer has this restaurant so everytime I come to Roanoke... I stop and get a slice. The cheesecakes looked amazing. I didn't get one but next time I will. It wasn't too crowded. There moved pretty fast. Nice staff. I will be back.

They have the BEST red sauce and I don't even like tomato sauces lol. Also, DeAnthony is the best! He was very nicely dressed, well kept and put together. He was polite, patient, and courteous with myself and my wife! We offered him a tip, but he advised he was unable to accept tips... So, I want to make sure everyone knows what a wonderful employee he is! He deserves a raise!!! He is the best, EVER!!!! Thanks for a great experience, DeAnthony!!!
