El Toreo - Roanoke

I recently ordered take out from El Toreo and it was an exceptional experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting with beautiful decor. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish bursting with authentic Mexican flavors. The tacos were a standout, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by fresh, vibrant toppings. The guacamole was creamy and flavorful, clearly made with fresh ingredients. The drinks were equally impressive, with a variety of refreshing options that complemented the meal perfectly. The agua de Jamaica (made from hibiscus flowers) was perfect, with a vibrant tart flavor and hint of sweetness. The horchata was also expertly crafted with just the right balance of sugar and cinnamon. Overall, El Toreo offers a fantastic dining experience with authentic Mexican food and drinks. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options: Fajitas, Enchiladas, Buritos, Quesadillas and others.

The food was absolutely delicious! The burritos, tacos, and horchata were delectable! The quality of service was superb!

Food is ok, not great. The way the smell of bleach slaps you in the face when you walk in is a little unappetizing. Service is good enough

The family went for lunch and it was great! Fast service so we could get lunch during hubby's lunch break and great kids meals. My youngest said their fries were better than McDonald's and we agree. I had the fajita burrito and it was delicious, we will be going back soon!

Kind of an out of the way hole in the wall. Service can be slow at times. Food quality is inconsistent one time we go and everything's excellent The next time everything's average. Good place for a quiet lunch because it seems no one else is going there for lunch
