Peconic Diner - Riverhead

Simple limited menu but nice and clean and very fast service traditional simple food with very nice plating an added garnish.

Delicious, amazing food had a great price!!The atmosphere is very pleasant and so is the staff.I've been here three times already and every time I've had something different and everything is excellent Vegetarian options: I usually eat a lot of eggs so for me it's perfect.They also have salmon which my friend said was amazing.And my other friend had spaghetti and clams which they said was absolutely delicious

I went to the diner twice and really wanted to like the place, but unfortunately both times were a disappointment. At the first visit, my soup arrived without a spoon and it took awhile to finally get one from our server. My husband ordered the skirt steak, which was tough and arrived without a steak knife. Again it took longer than it should have to get one once he asked for it. I had the the steak tacos which were good. A couple of weeks later, I went again with a friend. This time my salad arrived without dressing or a fork??? I decided to play it safe and ordered the steak tacos again. Unfortunately, this time the steak was dry and fatty. My friend order a hamburger. She stated it was dense and bland. Finally, the diet soda for all was flat at both visits. How does that happen???

Beautiful inside.... lots of new choices on menu, and delicious. Food came out lukewarm, soggy, though. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! Was charged credit card prices w/o a 'CASH PRICING ' option. (every item was an extra 4% Good thing we went over our receipt!!!
