River Rouge Coney Island

This place is dirty. it's hard to sit on a table and take care of the ****. the chef torn speck with his bare hands before he put him on the pan. the only good one here is the coffee.

It is an old time diner that doesnt appear to have had any upgrades since the HeyDays of the auto industry. I always get the coney/chili dogs and they are very good. IMO. Waitstaff always seems to be as nice as can be expected in a place like this. If you are lookinv for Fine Dining this is Not the place you are looking for.

Hole in the wall Coney. If you must eat and have no options then I would go here. The place is dated and beat up. A lot of the menu items don't exist.

Sometimes the food is good, sometimes not so much. Staff has always been great though

Old School Coney Island has been open since 1984 and is located on Jefferson, just one block off of Schaefer. They are open 24 hours a day and offer delicious food. I had a mega omelet with potatoes, a bowl of bean and ham soup, 2 coney island hot dogs, and a double patty melt with grilled onions - all of which were fantastic. The service was fast and friendly, with locals making fun conversation. I will definitely be returning soon. You can find them on Facebook for more information.
