Ganterwald - Ried-Brig

On the way to Brig we passed on this beautiful hotel and decided it would be our place for the night. The view from our upper balcony were amazing as our hosts. Our room was very comfortable and the beds were great, the bathroom was... impeccable. The dinner selection was very good and the service was wonderful, we would certainly return.

We love this place. This time we were here for lunch. We had a waiting period, which didn't matter. Very busy the day we visited. Soon served drinks to go and a short time later lunch. It was certainly worth waiting. Beautiful rusti with ham and cheese.

I visited Ganterwald for lunch and will certainly not return. Very rude man served us and made us feel very unwilling. Wait very long and for average dinner.

Warm welcome from employees in conjunction with valuable food (simple but hearty dishes) make us back and forth. Try the cakes in the afternoon... You will not be disappointed! Ganterwald is characterized by the other restaurants on the Simplon Pass itself!

Das Restaurant ist etwas zurückversetzt von der Passstrasse, verfügt über einen grossen Parkplatz und eine hübsche Aussichtsterrasse. Menükarte mit regionalen Spezialitäten. Freundlicher und sehr zuvorkommender, professioneller Service. Charmant, sympathisch und erstaunlich schnell, obwohl die Terrasse recht gut besetzt war. Ideal für ein schnelles Mittagessen auf der Durchreise.
