Osmow's Authentic Mediterranean Restaurant

So disgusting there were haare in my packaging. one of the women who worked there did not wear any frisury, and finding the hair in my food was the most disgusting and the thing in a time when a virus on the earth roars, is the hair in. my eating is beyond disgusting. I'll never return to that. I kept the package and post pictures.

Good food. the hawn on the rocks was seasoned on demand. tastes good. beautiful location and free parking.

Just returned from the Sandalwood location. Inside was clean and tidy. I ordered the platter with the mixed vegetables and rice and chicken and beef. Also a Cesar salad. There was no potatoe available, only fries. Really ? I didn’t know those were Mediterranean. Sad....I saw a person then take a frozen bag of ‘no name’ food basic type frozen vegetables and pour some onto the griddle. Really ? Frozen ? How are they to cook properly and not be frozen in the middle. Again, sad. The salad was a bit of chopped Roman with thin bread bits as croutons, no bacon, no grated cheese, and a bit of sauce dribbled over the lettuce. Yup, you guessed it, sad. The beef was only different in colour from the chicken. Taste and texture were the same. Bland. The rice was cooked properly but without flavour, only substance, filler. Overall I don’t know how this ‘chain’ of restaurants stays in business. Or at least how can it say it serves Mediterranean food. I will NEVER eat at this chain store again. There are many other establishments that offer the real thing, including flavour not filler. A note to the company, if they care, add ready to go vegetables to your hot plate not frozen ones. And get rid of the crappy frozen French fries and have real potatoes for customers. For the price your charging you should be ashamed. I guess it helps keep profit margins high

I had their beef and chicken shawerma it was really fresh and nicely cooked it waant dry like some shawerma place, the sauce had a great taste as well it was a little pricey but it feeds two people which is great.

Not a lot to cover here as I'm sure most of us has now had a Shawarma or two in our lives. Osmow's, I believe is a new chain and purveyor of mid-east food. This franchise is located in the large Loblaws mall located on...Bayview, north of Parking is not too difficult in this large mall that has many quick-serves such as Pizza Pizza, Tim Hortons, Baskin Robbins and Stabucks. I wanted something fast and not the usual burgs/za stuff. Found myself here and after seeing a few locations about town and ignoring all the negative reviews, I went in. The place has a small seating location as you walk in. The counter was cluttered with pre-opened paper bags and three young staffs. I ordered their small chicken shawarma wrap. I was recommended the large is it better margins or are you implying that I have a large appetite...hmmm...? I didn't want to go all in with the meal. Especially since the food prep area was not clean and the clothing that the guy and two gals were wearing was covered in residue of some sort. It's an open kitchen, you really need to up the cleanliness game or do what Tasty's does and close off the kitchen. What I don't know might still kill me but I won't blog about it! Lots of toppings were offered, I chose what I liked (WATCH OUT for extra charges for toppings it can add up paid my less than bucks and off I went try the fare. Nothing spectacular. The spices on the chicken were pretty good, the veggies and dressing was adequate and the meal was done in short order. The small wrap was more than sufficient for a simple meal. I'd rank this place it's a take it or leave it affair. I would probably go back to Tasty's or an overpriced Me-Va-Me.
