It was delicious. They have holiday beautiful gift sets which would make great souvenirs to take home. We bought several chocolate bars here, and the selection is different slightly different here than seen in other shops and the expiration dates indicate they are several months fresher here. Also the little shopping bag they give you your purchase in is cute and good for gifting. The location seemed somewhat out of the way on a far point of the Marina area. It was a very cold and windy day, so there was no one else that came through the entire time we were there, so no waiting in line and plenty of time to take time deciding! There are several other tourist attractions in the area, so it 's easy to loop in a visit with your other activities.
The ice cream was great! It was so smooth and creamy. Delicate vanilla taste and all toppings were amazing! I loved the chocolate caramel sauce and the honey grain flakes. A little crisp. I also bought several chocolate bars, then found them cheaper in service for free... but still delicious and nicely packed. Excellent for gifts!
Delicious ice cream, even on a cold day! Many decisions, it was hard to choose just one taste! Prices varied from $5-15CAD depending on the size of the bowl. Although the toppings were excellent, the star here is the delicious ice cream! Not to mention, they have a wide range of their chocolates at the same price as in other shops!
Wow! Definitely the best and most unique ice shop I was abroad. We were looking for an ice cream shop in Reykjavik, because we wanted something sweet and the logo in the shop looked familiar to us. They offer great ice taste in very beautiful presentation. We took the vanilla ice cream, which was formed as a panda, with chocolate-cookie crumb and white chocolate sauce, and the vanilla ice cream, which is shaped like honey honeycombs, which comes with honey-coated cornflakes and caramel sauce. Both ice creams were amazing. We were two hungry lovers and couldn't finish the big and middle parts we took together. Everyone in Reykjavik must try!
Don’t miss this! The ice-cream and chocolate here are delicious and 100% worth a stop if you’re in Reykjavik. We came back at the end of our trip to buy more chocolate and try different ice cream flavours. Our fave ice creams were the Hruturinn and the Isb jorninn
