Little Deer Tracks - Reservoir

This is truly a little gem of a café. The staff are warm and quirky and the food is quite delicious. Very tasty vegetarian dishes you can tell are made with love. Come here all the time. Child friendly also.

A little jewel in the heart of Coburg! Cuisine is sensational for brekky/lunch, generous serves, welcoming ambience and a menu full of love and flavour overseen by Marco. Well done, looking forward to th new year.

This is my favourite local cafe! Great range of vegan and vegetarian dishes and lots of gluten free options!

A lovely warm greeting as we entered the cafe, options for inside or outside tables, gorgeous breakfast smells wafting around provided a great beginning to our first visit to Little Deer Tracks. The menu has lots of tempting options. We eventually settled on vegan buckwheat pikelets with fresh fruit, coconut yoghurt and organic maple syrup. Fabulous (and filling). There were two other little things abut this cafe that I especially appreciated: that they trusted us with the bottle of organic maple syrup instead of doling out a miserly portion, which is usually what happens; and when I asked if they'd make my coffee with rice milk that I brought with me, they were more than happy to, and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. The cafe is about 400m off Sydney Road, kind of nearish the old Pentridge Prison, but on the opposite side of Sydney Rd, which makes it handy for people like us coming into or out of Melbourne from the north. My favourite place for lunch. Highlights on the menu are the gnocchi, aubergine parmigiana and home made bread and butter pudding (made with croissants). Washed down with a crisp beer or an excellent coffee.
