Denny's - Regina

Always a good breakfast coffee. service was fast efficient. eating was very well prepared to order. we also tried to dinner, but the evening dinners are not impressing. the breakfast is definitiw their appetizer!

I generally have a great empathy towards wait staff until yesterday. Went to Denny's in the mid afternoon yesterday. We were told it would be a wait to be seated. Another customer asked why when half their tables were empty. They explained it was shift...change. We laughed at the impatient couple as they left after five minutes. Within ten minutes we were seated. Unfortunately, no one looked at us for 45 minutes after that. There were three different waitering staff at the tables around us and two taff from the till cleaning glass and carpet sweeping. We couldn't even catch their eyes. One of them eventually took drinks over to the rest of the tables that had come in after us and told them their waitress would be with them in a bit. The restaurant was not even half full.... When our order was finally taken the food was fast and good. yes after 45 minutes our kids were unruly and this may have been what got us noticed Our table was taken over by a very friendly woman shift trainer? and at that point everyone could suddenly see us and repeatedly asked us if we needed help. This was unacceptable for how many employees they had and how busy the restaurant was.

Had a great breakfast today. Dennys team was attentive and super friendly, eating was awesome especially the caramel cakes

Saturday Brunch at 11, there was a bit of a wait 15 minutes, but worth it. Food was great and our server entertaining! Made a creamer vanish before our eyes, unfortunately he couldn’t do the same with our bill!!

There were eight having lunch so we were seated at two tables which were close together. We were able to hear each other. Most people ordered from the 55+ Menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner). There are selections for less than $10. I ordered Country-fried steak...from 55+ Dinner Menu. It was a nice size of breaded chopped beef steak (tender) topped with some gravy, with red-skinned garlic mashed potatoes plus garlic toast. Two side dishes were included so I selected soup (a bowl of creamy potato bacon soup, very tasty, cheesy, lots of bacon). Instead of a salad I had a plate of veggies and dip. The meal was very filling! A good lunch for $10.99. We had to wait a while to get our orders. All 8 orders arrived at the same time.
