Afternoon Tea At Saskatchewan - Regina

It was my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by the waitress who brought me an extra piece of cake while she sang me happy birthday.

We booked afternoon tea at the Hotel Saskatchewan, we were disappointed by the very slow service. It took nearly an hour to serve us! At one point we were the only table left without being served! The sandwiches and pastries were good, but the kids menu was disappointing, Not sure how many kids would actually eat the choice of sandwiches that were served, and unlike other placed that I have booked before, my son was not offered the sandwiches of his choice. All in all I think it was the worst afternoon tea I have ever had and will not be booking this again! Disappointed as I had such great expectations!

This is about the 17th or 18th Christmas tea we have done. The service rating I gave was simply because there were not enough servers. The food rating was due to lack of variety. We used to get a level of sandwiches, level of veggies, a level of sweets. This year we had 2 levels of sweets, which was just too much. Perhaps you could have an option when booking? Also, other teas we have gone to refill the sandwiches, also would have been nice. We will continue the tradition with our girls, regardless...hopefully with Hotel Sask. Thank you.

Excellent experience overall! “Must do” on a visit to Regina. The Hotel Saskatchewan is truly outstanding from every vantage point.

The ambience was nice but the food felt like it was bought from Costco and then put on a tray, I don’t think it’s worth $35. The tea selection was good but overall would I recommend it to a friend no.
