Bosporus - Regensburg

This place is a couple of km. from the centre, but I'd reccommend it if you're staying nearby at Gasthaus Bavaria. It's a family run business, has a pleasant dining room, a solarium & outside eating area.I had a delicious eggplant meze for a starter, a nice diversion from the usual meat & potatoes German fare. This was followed by a lasagna dish, not exactly fine Italian cuisine, but the same as found in most "Italian" eateries in Canada, hot & filling with tomato meat sauce & lots of cheese. Both were very reasonably priced.They have 2 or 3 Thurn & Taxis beers on draught as well, much better priced than downtown.

Cosy little restaurant. Suitable for children. Family run. Very big portions. Cheap price. Friendly service. Food tastes really good.
