Great friendly service paired with bomb food, definitely take the time to come by! The cornbread was amazing, nice crust on the outside with soft inside. We asked for 2nds. The beignets were super fresh The fried chicken was superbly fried, keeping all the juices inside. Come try it out!

Really enjoyed myself here! I sat at the bar and was waited on by Aaron. Great cocktails and I started with the deep fried bacon wrapped oyters that were dynamite, then ordered the catfish with collard greens, mashed potatoes and cornbread Everything tasted fantastic, will definitely add this to my habits favorites list for San Carlos!

To start with, the food is pretty tasty. We ordered short rib and shrimp and crawfish etouffee, both are very good. But the wait time is way too long.. we waited for nearly an hour for the main entry to come, and the service is minimal. The place is not too busy at that time so not sure if the restaurant is understaffed. We probably won’t be back due to the service.

Nice outdoor seating area, ribs and char grilled catfish are both delicious. Beignets were stale by the time they got to our table (deflated and rubbery) but otherwise it's a good experience.
