The highlight of the experience was definitely the food. We tried a variety of appetizers and curry dishes, with the Dahi balla chat being a standout favorite. The combination of yogurt with sweet and tangy chutneys was absolutely delicious. The service was a bit inconsistent due to the busyness of the restaurant, especially since we visited on a Friday night. I would recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure a smoother experience.
A great restaurant for north indian food. Today we tried the following paneer karahi, kadhi pakora, egg biryani, garlic naan, tandoori roti, egg biryani and moong daal halwa. All the dishes were delicious and would highly recommend trying them out. If you like spicy food you can go a bit higher on the spice level.
I returned to the restaurant the next day and decided to try the veggie special thali. It included paneer in a sweet gravy, dal makhani, green pea curry, and the same accompaniments as the non-veg thali (samosa, gulab jamun, naan, and rice). I learned that the menu changes daily, which is great for those looking for variety in their meals. I took advantage of a 10% off lunch thali offer and arrived around 12:30 pm to find the restaurant crowded. Since I was dining solo, I was seated at the bar table, which turned out to be quite comfortable. The non-veg thali was priced at 20 USD before taxes and included samosa, two non-veg curries, dal, naan, rice, and a dessert (gulab jamun). The food was delicious and I enjoyed the different flavors of the curries.
We had out of town guests who requested Indian food. Our friend recommended this place at Redmond. It was in a strip mall. Quite decent darker atmosphere inside the restaurant despite being in the strip mall. We ordered a variety of dishes. Portion size was decent. Coconut lamb, Butter chicken, biryani (quite spicy), Fish tandoori? So good but smaller portion size. We also ordered mango lassie, chai and Chardonnay. All pretty good. Service was quiet. Waiter was knowledgeable and patient. Oh! Garlic naan was so good and a great portion size. Wish we took pictures.. Next time! Will be back for sure.
