Kaveri South Indian - Gaithersburg

One of the worst food i have ever ate in US. I ordered it around 8:30 and my food delivered around 10:30 I ordered rasmalai biryani and a soup and the restaurant told there was no rasmalai and had to replace it with payasam and gajjar halwa.. i was totally ok untill my order arrived. The soup was the 1st worst thing they just added some water to the remaining or left over soup and all i could taste was salt and chilli water with cilantro later i ate the biryani just one bite and i could sense the spicy to an extreme level i had to leave the entire biryani. I was thinking atleast the sweets would be fine i took one bite of the payasam it was already smelling bad like a expired stuff it was so sour in taste and the same went with the gajjar halwa For all this i had to afford 45$ am i some kind of a joke or what Please make sure u serve some nice and fresh food instead of all of this

Authentic South Indian restaurant!!! Must try for the most homemade South Indian food. Great atmosphere and great service!! Best deal in town to try all the South Indian dishes Monday to Sunday : lunch buffet $16. Then def try indochinese dinner buffet on Tuesday night and dosa buffet on Thursday night.

Great food. Lot of chutney served and good quantity

We came here for the buffet on Saturday around 1 PM. The food was absolutely delicious and the buffet had a lot of variety. We will definitely come here again in the future. As you would expect at a buffet, there will be times when some of the items run out. We experienced this with the mutton curry, but there were so many other options that it was not a big deal. They refilled the mutton curry after a little while. Overall, we had a great experience and believe this is one of the best Indian buffets that we have had in the DMV area.

The vibes of this place isn’t good. The food is good but dining in and looking around the surrounding, it’s so dingy. The interior is so garish that it ruins the experience.
