Carlitos Mexican - Raytown

Since 1986. This is the best Mexican food! We'll visit when we get to town. The food is always delicious and they are very consistent! Still as delicious today as at that time! The staff is always friendly. The restaurant and the bathroom are always clean.

I have a special affinity for local dives, and this is one that the locals have a long-term affinity. I think there's something to say about loyalty. Embedded in a stripe-mall/square, Carlitos waits to stop diners and grab a quick bite of Tex Mex, which seems rare to change. Get a beef-burrito plate. They won't be disappointed. It's quiet, you don't have to wait, nor you have to talk about loud music. Cheap prices.

This little mother and pop restaurant was delicious. Worth the money. Friendly family behind the counter.
