Famished has been running for over two years and I have only recently discovered this delightful restaurant run by a fabulous couple and their equally fabulous daughter who helps out when needed. Tanya is the menu planner and chef who is supported admirably by her husband and daughter. Now to the food......choice of three or maybe four including vegetarian option. Delicious, generous home style cooking with exciting (flavour wise) additions. And did I mention the desserts!!! Famished is opened Monday to Fridays from 5 8pm. BYO remember to book to ensure a table as the place is relatively small although this adds to the great atmosphere.

I have been eating regularly at Famished for over a year, and the standard of food is consistently excellent. The meals are honest, home-cooked meals with a touch of luxury. Fresh, delicious ingredients, and always there's a twist of something special. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Food was incredible and very tasty, well worth a visit if you are in darwin. Bring a bottle of wine and you've got a great meal ahead of you!

Delicious home cooked food, excellent 4 choices of mains that change each week (check their Sunday Facebook menu post , options for dairy and gluten free and a vegetarian option, excellent desserts and very reasonable prices: what's not to love? I haven't found many places in Darwin that I actually enjoy eating in, so this looks very promising. There are only a few tables but they suggested I ring ahead and they'd reserve one. Yay a cafe/restaurant you can hear the other people speaking! We could almost have shared the lamb, it was so generous (especially the meat , and I'm wondering whether I can justify detouring again to eat brioche bread and butter (and chocolate and cream! pudding! Mmmmmmmm. Nice decor and very friendly hosts all the best for your venture: you deserve to succeed!
