Rockbridge Vineyard - Raphine

We stopped in on a whim while road-tripping. Wine was good. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. View was nice. To-go beers from the brewery were solid too. What more can you ask for?

Such a friendly place to spend the afternoon. The wines are flavorful with a nice finish not heavy on the tannins. It's a gem tucked away right off 81.

First of all Rockbridge has great wine and beer. We are members as well but I would like to address the owners negligence during our visit. Rockbridge is dog friendly so we brought our dog. The owner tried to introduce his dog, a chocolate lab to ours and the dog was aggressive towards our dog. He tried again to introduce them and he lost control of his dog and it bite my dog which pulled me out my seat to the ground and nipped my fiancé in the process. We did not feel comfortable telling the owner of the establishment to please go away but I wish we would have now. I take part of the responsibility but this is careless, unsafe, and unprofessional especially coming from the owner of the winery. We are considering canceling our membership. We love the winery but want to provide awareness for others who may bring their dog.

Karen and John were amazing hosts to our large group celebrating our son’s graduation and birthday. They took the boys for a tour and made us feel at home. We tried a little bit of everything from beer to wine! The Meritage was excellent! Looking forward to going back, thanks again for a memorable day ??

While visiting my daughter, she suggested a visit to the winery. What a wonderful experience! A beautiful building. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Suggestions for my first wine flight were delicious. It is a gorgeous place! Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon
